Game Recap

The Heath junior varsity baseball team defeated the visiting Licking Heights Hornets by a score of 8-3 on Wednesday. The Bulldogs were led on the mound by Marshall Flynn, who pitched a complete game, allowing only two earned runs on five hits and one walk, and striking out seven. Matt Bowman was the leading hitter for Heath as he went 3-4 with 2 RBI and 1 run scored. Gabe Nader was 2-3 with 1 RBI and 1 run scored, and Justin Hartman was 2-3 with 1 run scored. Marshall Flynn and Logan Williams each had one hit, one walk, and one run scored, and Corbin Roe added a double and a walk. The win brought the JV Bulldogs’ overall record to 10-7 on the season and 8-2 in the LCL.
