Game Recap

The Heath junior varsity baseball team suffered a 9-1 loss to visiting Johnstown on Friday. Justin Hartman (1-3, 1 double, 1 RBI, 1 BB) and Alex Kovalick (1-3, 1 double, 1 R) led the Bulldogs at the plate. Corbin Roe, Matt Bowman, and Layne Brotherton also had one hit apiece for the Dogs. Gabe Nader was the starting pitcher and was tagged with the loss after pitching 4 innings and striking out two, bringing his JV pitching record to 3-1 on the season. Kamden Kreager pitched two innings in relief giving up two unearned runs, and Logan Byers pitched one inning giving up no runs. The loss brings the JV Bulldogs’ overall record to 10-8 and they fall to 8-3 in the LCL.
