Game Recap

The Heath junior varsity baseball team lost 10-7 at Lakewood on Wednesday night. Marshall Flynn was the starting pitcher for the Bulldogs and took the loss, despite allowing only two earned runs over four innings and striking out five batters. Logan Byers pitched two perfect innings in relief with one strikeout. Leading hitters for Heath were Kamden Kreager (2-5, 2 R), Layne Brotherton (2-4, 1 R), Justin Hartman (1-3, 1 R, 2 RBI, 1 double), Corbin Roe (1-4, 2 RBI, 1 triple), Gabe Nader (1-3, 1 R, 1 RBI, 1 BB), and Matt Bowman (1-4, 1 R, 1 RBI). The loss brings the JV Bulldogs overall record to 10-9 and 8-4 in the LCL.
