Meet Recap

The boys cross country team ran today at the Galion XC Festival, where the finished 2nd out of 27 teams. It was a great experience as we competed against some top notch runners, including six of Ohio’s top twelve teams in the most recent state polls.

Chanlder Wilhelm led the way for us today by finishing 5th out of 183 runners in a time of 16:22. Nicholas Lee also turned in a top 10 performance finishing in 16:37, with Xavier Foehl 21st (16:59). Rounding out our team scoring today was Dylan Hammond finishing 31st and freshman Jack Lutz 51st. Also running in the varsity race were Paul Collier (94th) and Wyatt McQueen (102nd).

Our JV team finished 9th out of 32 teams in the Open Race. Preston Pethtel placed 20th (18:31), Andrew Williamson 30th (18:55), Aiden Schaeffer 49th (19:21), Matt Bowman 143rd, and Josh Harper rounded out team scoring placing 164th out of 426 runners. Also running were Seth Werner 274th, Welsey Mitchell-Houdeshell 275th, Michael Lambert 268th, Long Lin 389th, and Garrett Elam 402nd.
