Meet Recap

The team continued their postseason run this afternoon by winning their 3rd consecutive Central District Championship. Chandler Wilhelm led the way by running a fantastic race in a time of 16:02, placing as the District runner-up. Also earning First Team All-District honors were Xavier Foehl (5th), Nick Lee (6th), and Dylan Hammond (14th).

It is worth nothing Dylan accomplished his feat by running more than half of the race with only one shoe!!!! Anyone familiar with the course at Watkins Memorial knows this is no small accomplishment due to tree roots and plenty of rocks all over the course through the woods.

Freshman Jack Lutz stepped up and was our final team scorer and placed 21st. Paul Collier placed 25th, and Wyatt McQueen continued his comeback by placing 29th. The team will get back to work to prepare for the Regionals at Pickerington North next Saturday at 2:15.
