Meet Recap

The Varsity Girls Cross Country Team finished their season with an 8th place finish out of 21 teams and 111 runners at the Division 2 Central District Cross Country Championships. Senior Kyra Herring led the way for the Lady Bulldogs in the final race of her career with a 28th place finish in a time of 21:09. Freshman Kaylee Padar finished in 36th place (21:35:03) and Freshman Adrienne Collier finished in 37th place (21:35:93). Rounding out the scoring for the Lady Bulldogs was Senior Dani Titus (44th, 22:02) and Junior Haylee Watson (51st, 22:23). Junior Brooke Bebout finished in 52nd place (22:24) and Senior Shelby Grigsby finished in 68th place (23:20).

The Lady Bulldogs had a solid season with many young runners playing a significant role on the team. The team will look to build on this year’s progress in the off season, and with several returning runners, hope for an even stronger 2018. Nice job to all runners this season, and good luck to the Boys team as they compete in the Regional Meet.
