Josh Kraner

HHS Class of 2007

Josh was a multiple sport athlete at Heath, lettering in Football, Cross Country, and four years in a row in Track.  However, it was in track where Josh left his permanent mark.

Josh capped his career in 2007 by helping lead Heath to the team State Championship in Track.  This was after he helped lead the Bulldogs to a State Runner-Up finish in 2005 and a fifth place finish in 2006.  Josh won state championships in the 4×200 and 4×400 relays as a sophomore and those same two events as a senior.  This gave him four state titles over his career.  In addition, he was an indoor state champion in the 4×400 relay in 2007, helping to lead the Bulldogs to the state indoor title as well.

Over his track career he was named All Ohio 8 times, was a Regional Champion 6 times, 7 times won District Championships, and was a 9 time Mid State League Champion.  He helped lead Heath to three MSL Ohio team championships, two District Championships, one Regional Championship, and a Regional Runner-Up finish.  Josh still holds four Heath High School records on the track.

Josh went on to run for Rio Grande College on a track scholarship, where he was a two time NAIA qualifier and still holds two school records.  Josh is married to the former Hannah Weaver and has one son, Bryson.  Josh and his family live in Heath.
