The Heath Invitational besides great weather brought best out of everyone Saturday. The heath boys finished 4th out of 21 teams. The day started off well with the 4×800 meter relay team of McQueen, Wilhelm, Lee and Lines taking first with a time of 8:31. Top performance of the day went to Taylor Hopkins finishing 1st and breaking the school record in the 1600 running 4:25.27. Then running 2:00.0 to take first in the 800.
For the boys, the 4×200 relay placed 4th, Carlos Rencher was 3rd in the 400, and Aric Adams placed 7th in the 300 Hurdles. In the field events Caleb Baily placed 5th in pole vault. Klye Yoho finished 7th in shot and 6th in discus, and Gunner Babcock finished 5th in long jump and tied for 7th in high jump. The girls team placed 15th out of 20 teams. Rachel Elam finished 6th in the 300 Hurdles. Amanda Adams was 2nd in the 800 and Sydney Homser placed 7th in discus.
