Watkins Memorial High School
The Heath junior varsity baseball team came from behind and scored five runs in the fifth inning to take home a 5-2 victory over visiting Watkins Memorial on Wednesday, bringing their record to 5-3 overall, and 2-1 in the LCL. The Bulldogs were led by Kamden Kreager and Corbin Roe at the plate, who each had two hits and an RBI. Kreager also scored a run and Roe also reached base after being hit by a pitch. Gabe Nader added a hit, an RBI, and a run scored, and Austin Morrow had a hit, a stolen base, and one run scored. Justin Hartman and Matt Bowman also added one hit apiece for the Dogs. Kamden Kreager earned his first pitching victory of the season after throwing 6 innings and striking out three batters. Logan Byers took over on the mound in the 7th inning and earned his first save of the season.
