Cynthia (Stinson) Talbert is a 1992 graduate of Heath High School. During her athletic career at Heath she earned 4 letters in basketball, 4 letters in track, 3 letters in volleyball and one letter in cross country. She was a member of the Lady Bulldogs undefeated 1991 State Championship basketball team. In track and field at Heath, she was All-Ohio in the 100 and 200 meter dashes Mid-State League record holder in the 100 meter dash, placed third in the 100 meter dash and sixth in 4 X 100 meter relay team in the State Track and Field Championship, and was the State Champion in the long jump. In her athletic career at Muskingum College, she played varsity basketball all four years and participated in track and field for three years. As a track athlete at Muskingum, she was a National Qualifier with the third fastest time in the nation for NCAA Division III, and was the Ohio Athletic Conference Sprint Champion in both indoor and outdoor track. She currently holds the Muskingum University women’s record in the 55 meter dash, 100 meter dash, and long jump.
