The boys cross country season concluded this past weekend at the State meet held at National Trails Raceway, where they finished as Ohio’s 13th fastest team. Boys Cross Country Regional 2 Results

The boys cross country team extended their season by earning the right to run at the State Meet next Saturday at National Trails in Hebron. Qualifying as a team is a very rare and difficult feat, and this is the first team appearance at the State Meet for the boys program since 1987!!! Taylor Hopkins

Winter Sports Parent and Athlete Meeting

The winter sports parent/athlete meeting mandated by the OHSAA will be held Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 6:00 PM in the heath high School cafeteria. This meeting is mandatory for winter athletes and their parents UNLESS they attended the fall meeting. if you attended the fall meeting you do not need to attend. Transportation fees ($25)

Girl’s Cross Country Places First at Johnstown

Girls Cross Country The Girl’s Cross Country team edged out Westerville South Saturday, October 10th to take a first place finish  at the Johnstown Harrier Showdown. At the girls soccer banquet the team got their awards. Abby Hayes was nominated for first team, Jordan Painter and Cassidy Neff got 2nd team, and Sydney Boyer got Honorable mention. Leia Hillier got most improved also.

Central District Championships

The boys cross country team continued their successful season by winning the Central District Championship this past weekend.  Four runners earned First Team All-District honors, with Taylor Hopkins placing 3rd, Chandler Wilhelm 12th, Nick Lee 14th, and Dylan Karr 15th out of 117 runners.  Caleb Large rounded out team scoring with an 18th place finish.
